These are the features of our single-use tampons:
✅Hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested tampons. Ideal for sensitive skin, our tampons prevent irritation and itching.
✅Cottonlock™ protection system. An innovative patented system that prevents tampon fibres from sticking to the vaginal walls, ensuring clean removal and leaving no residue on our body.
✅100% certified organic cotton. Tampons free of toxic chemicals and plastic or synthetic materials.
✅Securely sewn extractor cord. The cord is fully stitched to the absorbent core, ensuring safe, effective and discomfort-free removal.
✅Biodegradable cardboard applicator. The cardboard applicator facilitates smooth and comfortable insertion. Experience, sometimes, is everything. It also reduces the environmental impact of single-use plastic applicators.
✅High absorbency and breathability. Capable of absorbing over 20 times its weight in liquid, organic cotton ensures an optimal level of moisture and allows breathability, keeping the skin healthy.
✅Compatible with physiological pH. Does not alter the natural acidity of the vaginal mucosa.
✅Sustainable design and packaging. Each tampon is individually wrapped with recyclable material, reducing the environmental impact. The most important factor is the inside but we have decided to take care of the outside as well.
✅Manufactured in the EU. Our tampons are produced entirely in the European Union, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
✅Softness and comfort. The soft feel of cotton makes using our tampons comfortable and pleasant.
We always talk about organic cotton in all our products, but do you know why it’s better to use organic cotton?
Let’s go back in history. The vast majority of tampons and sanitary towels throughout all our life are white. They do this to make it more tangible that they are made from cotton, but they actually often contain synthetics such as rayon and viscose.
Why? Just for visual reasons. And it turns out that this visual factor damages the mucous membrane of our vagina, one of the mucous membranes in the body that absorbs chemicals the fastest. Did you know that what comes into contact with the vagina impacts up to 80 times more than what comes into contact with the mouth? Unbelievable, but true. This data is from the article “La vida del tampón”, [‘The life of the tampon’] by Gemma Cuartielles, published in the newspaper El País on 15 December 2022.
Throughout your life you may use more than 18,000 menstrual products and all this has a direct impact on your health. That’s why Menstrual Point wants to reduce all this negative impact.
Our team ensures that each of our products takes care of your menstrual health. Now you can contribute to equality and inclusiveness by improving the well-being and health of menstruating people in your organisation.
And of course we can’t do everything, but we can all do something. Let’s start by making others aware of something trapped in time, let’s give it the importance it deserves and let’s find a solution as a society.
From today you can join our social movement and start becoming a Menstrually Responsible Organisation®.
